LIGHTNIN’ HOPKINS – WAR NEWS BLUES
When Obama took office we were fighting four unprovoked wars in Iraq, Afghanistan, Gaza and the West Bank. And by the time Obama put troops on the ground in Nigeria, this made EIGHT avoidable wars where we created new enemies:
Afghanistan, Iraq, Algeria, Libya, Somalia, Pakistan, Yemen. and then Nigeria…
After October of 2014, President Obama went beyond these wars of choice until America was fighting 31 illegal wars of aggression in smaller and less powerful nations that did not attack us.
These conflicts include bombings, drones, espionage, an various forms of aggression to destabilize these nations so that America can extract resources, exploit people or collect extortion. This unprovoked aggression has made us demonstrably less secure.
These unnecessary misuses of United States military resources continue in expanding wars in at least 48 nations …
Obama bombed at least TEN Sovereign NATIONS: Afghanistan, Algeria, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, the Philippines, Somalia, South Sudan, Syria, and Yemen
None of these nations attacked America. There may be more.
These are nations we can confirm were bombed.
This illegal and unprovoked aggression has happened before in American history. Previously, we had attacked one or two nations to underwrite various munitions cartels. But Barack Obama, posing as a moderate, allowed the CIA and Pentagon to initiate or continue more attacks, bombings, invasions, occupations and aggression than ANY previous administration since World War Two.
Most of these unprovoked bombings violate International Treaties, U. S. Civil Law, The War Powers Act and Constitutional Mandates. We have deployed troops, attacked, bombed, and/or used illegal drones and invasive espionage and exploitation against innocent people so that munitions firms can engage in military profiteering for corporate profit. This is done at taxpayer expense.
We were not attacked. These are, by definition, war crimes.
Corporate wars of aggression misuse U.S. troops to serve transnational munitions corporations at the expense of everyday people in America and at least 33 other nations.
We have been making new enemies every day with this trigger-happy corporate arrogance. Under Trump, these unnecessary, avoidable and unprovoked wars continued expanding.
Biden promises nothing will change.
Sometimes, with our corrupted mainstream media, it seems like nobody is paying attention. It remains ILLEGAL to wage war without congressional approval. Since the forces we are arresting, chasing down, attacking or killing have not attacked this nation and do not pose any threat to the people of America, the insertion of US troops, CIA mercenaries, Pentagon mercenaries, bombings or drones are illegal acts and violations of US law.
Everyday people in the USA are subjected to multiple propaganda campaigns telling them to be afraid… be very afraid. Based on this fear-mongering, the military-industrial complex has spent trillions and killed millions. The vast majority of the casualties are innocent of any attack against this nation. We are the aggressor in these multiple illegal wars of choice. Since everyday people are the 99%, we must demand that our leaders shut down these wars and secure the peace. Our corporate partners can invest in rebuilding this nation instead of wreaking havoc at home and abroad. There are more of us than there are of them.
We have the power. This remains in our hands.

“Over the last twelve years, hundreds of thousands, or millions… of innocent civilians have been killed in Afghanistan, Iraq, Somalia, Yemen, Palestine, Pakistan and other countries targeted in what are ostensibly American “wars on terrorism.”
The U.S. has the highest defense budget in its history, exceeding the combined military expenditures of all other nations in the world combined.
The latest convenient “terrorist threat” dominating corporate media is crowding out very real economic problems inflicted upon the people of the U.S. and the world.
Millions in the U.S. are losing jobs, homes, health care and education, while being told that the source of their problems are overseas instead of in Washington..” Trump, as he promised, has continued these wars.
This avoidable corporate aggression has already bankrupted America and the bottom will fall out between 2021 and 2030. We must prevent this disaster.

“One thing is certain. The United States government and ruling class have nothing to offer people but war, bankruptcy. intensified domestic surveillance and economic “austerity.” If the CIA, the Pentagon, the White House and our corporate media continue to bombard the airwaves with threats about “terrorism,” this propaganda will block any discussion about real economic and environmental problems.
Questions about “security” will take priority over the decline of the American “empire.” These wars of choice have put 34 million people out of work at home. Banks have foreclosed on millions of homes, closed hundreds of schools and have forced tens of thousands of university students away from their studies due to a monumental escalation of fees and cutbacks in financial assistance.”
Western intervention overseas costs trillions, creates more enemies and makes the world demonstrably less secure.
We have become the terror.
If we continue dozens of simultaneous wars costing trillions, American bankruptcy will destabilize the world economy and the United States will be in hasty retreat from more than 800 bases used to wage 48 or more wars from more than 150 nations.
The collapse of American empire will take place between 2025 and 2030. Before 2050, oceans will be flooding cities, water supplies and nuclear power generation plants. This is wake-up time.
