Agitate, Educate, and Organize ~OO~
Unarmed citizens are executed by sociopaths for jaywalking, wearing a hoodie, running or driving away, stealing cigars, selling cigarettes, not selling cigarettes, walking while black, refusing to provide ID, demonstrating against injustice, expressing grievances… or sometimes harmless unarmed citizens are just in the wrong place at the wrong time and a trigger-happy thug guns them down for looking suspicious or for no apparent reason at all.
Other times gangs of thugs don’t bother to use a gun, but beat a person down to the ground and finish them off with kicks, punches, blows to the head, tasers and/or batons.
But too many of these sociopaths, thugs and gangs have badges. Multiple grand juries, governors, mayors, city councils and police bureau commissioners endorse this lawless behavior and give bad cops two weeks paid vacation, get out of jail free cards, and a pat on the back for profiling, targeting, harassing, beating and killing. This violence infects our communities.
We, the public, are told the peace officers we hired to protect and serve are so afraid, cowardly and terrified that we must let them shoot first and ask questions later.
I don’t buy it. We deserve better. And we must continue to take it to the streets until we can safely occupy our communities and live in peace. Our leaders murder prisoners at home and innocents abroad while civil rights disappear and mass-shootings occur in our failing public schools.
When there is no justice there can be no peace.
We must find the courage not to surrender our values. There can be no compromise with corrupt corporate cons. We don’t have to take it any more.
“The revolution has always been in the hands of the young. The young always inherit the revolution.”
“Revolution is about the need to re-evolve political, economic and social justice and power back into the hands of the people, preferably through legislation and policies that make human sense. That’s what revolution is about. Revolution is not about shootouts.”
“America is the first country… that can actually have a bloodless revolution.”
“A revolution is not a bed of roses. A revolution is a struggle between the future and the past.”
― Fidel Castro
“A revolution is coming – a revolution which will be peaceful if we are wise enough; compassionate if we care enough; successful if we are fortunate enough – but a revolution which is coming whether we will it or not. We can affect its character; we cannot alter its inevitability.”
― Robert F. Kennedy
We can shut down dozens of wars, secure the peace and invest those trillions in universal health-care, banking reform, affordable housing, infrastructure, jobs with justice, functioning schools and a healing planet. We have choices to make. Our courageous youth want to lead us away from mass shootings. It is time we backed them up by demilitarizing our police, restoring civil rights and shutting down unprovoked wars for corporate profit. Yes we can.

At home, American police bureaus,
militarized and armed with machine
guns, have been provided a license to
kill at will and our president claims a
“right” to kill anyone, anywhere, any
time, for any reason or without providing
any reason at all. This amoral and
extralegal extortion has been extended
abroad in more than 25 corporate wars of
choice. And what is most terrifying is
that the American people have surrendered
to this betrayal and treason. With innocents
executed at home and abroad, we are
under attack and must stand up and fight back.
The revolution has begun.
