Agitate, Educate, and Organize ~OO~
Barack Obama betrayed the people who put him into office. Obama bailed out Wall Street four times and sold out Main Street. Everyday people paid the price.
Good people lost their homes, banks made billions, and human-rights have been disappearing into militarized swat-team no-warrant raids at home and illegal murders of innocents in dozens of corporate wars abroad.
A shrinking “middle-class” is disappearing into endless war. The millionaires glee club is murdering prisoners at home and innocents abroad while creating new enemies and making everybody less secure.
Too many families are in foreclosure thanks to medical bills. The richest nation on the planet can afford to pay for the health of her people. But we have been tricked, trickled-on and lied to.
The War economy is not working. We need a cabinet level U. S. Department of Peace to secure peace, rebuild America and export technology and peace instead of munitions and war.
We do not have time for “Liberal Apologies for Obama’s Ugly Reign…”:
And we already know that Trump has doubled down on war.
There are a number of understandable and respectable responses to American exports of corporate aggression. (horror and disgust come to mind). These latest corporate and white-racist policies were predictable and most are not surprised.
The Revolution Solution…
Unarmed citizens are being executed by sociopaths for jaywalking, wearing a hoodie, running or driving away, stealing cigars, selling cigarettes, walking while black, refusing to provide ID, demonstrating against injustice, expressing grievances… or sometimes harmless unarmed citizens are just in the wrong place at the wrong time and a trigger-happy thug guns them down for looking suspicious or for no apparent reason at all.
Other times these gangs of thugs don’t bother to use a gun, but beat a person down to the ground and finish them off with kicks, punches, blows to the head, tasers and/or batons.
But these sociopaths, thugs and gangs have badges. Multiple grand juries, governors, mayors, city councils and police bureau commissioners endorse their behavior and give them get out of jail free cards, paid vacations and pats on the back. We, the public, are told the peace officers we hired to protect and serve are so afraid, cowardly and terrified that we must let them shoot first and ask questions later.
I don’t buy it. We deserve better. And we should continue to take it to the streets until we can safely occupy our communities and live in peace. Our leaders murder prisoners at home and innocents abroad while civil rights disappear:
When there is no justice there can be no peace. We must find the courage not to surrender our values. There can be no compromise with the corporate cons. And we don’t have to take it any more.
“The revolution has always been in the hands of the young. The young always inherit the revolution.”
The future is in our hands.
If we humans who live in America can “afford” to spend trillions killing millions for billionaires, munitions cartels, insurance conglomerates and war-profiteers in avoidable wars for “profit,” then we can afford to shut down these unnecessary and expensive wars and invest, instead, in the health and well-being of everyday people. Yes we can.
