“Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”
are supposed to be inalienable American Human Rights. These fundamentals remain prerequisites for the pursuit of happiness. The United States of America is the richest and most powerful nation on earth, but where do we stand on the basics?
Life:
In Amerika today, Black lives do not matter. Neither do Palestinian lives, Hispanic lives, Asian lives, Indigenous lives or the lives of everyday people who do the work and pay the bills. This must change.
Liberty:
Habeas corpus is suspended and the President declares he owns the right of kings to murder anyone, anywhere, any time, for any reason or without providing any reason at all. And according to this dictate, police officers have been afforded a license to kill at will and this treason has been extended abroad in 27 avoidable and unnecessary wars of choice on nations who have not attacked the American people.
Pursuit of Happiness:
Without civil rights, universal non-profit health care, effective education and affordable housing… we have been denied the opportunity to pursue happiness.
The people charge that, whereas the Corporate Elite
have refused to Assent to Laws which are the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.
have forbidden Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till the consent of the Fortune 500 should be obtained; and when so suspended, these corporate elite have utterly neglected to attend to the public good.
have refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of (nonpartisan) Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.
have called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with corporate measures, wants, desires and ambitions at home and abroad.
have effectively dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, by imposing fines or economic sanctions (USPS) on those who deliver the mail or refusing to hear those who oppose the corporate elite. (private control of public debate)
have refused for a long time, after such disruptions, to allow others to be elected; whereby the Legislative powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without (by transnational corporate cons), and convulsions from within by those who seek peace, justice and freedom.
have endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; and for that purpose have engaged in obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising new conditions for Appropriations of Lands for those who remain in need. And they now build walls on our borders instead of bridges to a more compassionate and progressive future.
have obstructed the Administration of Justice, by paying off those who hold Judiciary powers. These corporate elite have
made Judges dependent on their Will alone, for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.
have erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harrass our people: beat them, eat out their substance, stop their demonstrations and even execute them in the streets.
have kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures and supplying police departments with offensive military weapons they do not require.
have affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil power.
have combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving corporate Assent to Acts of pretended Legislation:
For Quartering large bodies of armed officers among us:
For protecting them, by a mock Trials, prompted Grand Juries, false testimony and lies from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States:
For cutting off our Trade with many parts of the world through aggression and attack:
For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent:
For depriving us in many cases, of the benefits of Trial by Jury: (habeas corpus is suspended)
For transporting us beyond Seas to be beaten, tortured, or murdered for pretended offences…
For abolishing the free System of Law and establishing an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these States;
For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws, and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments, putting them in the hands of the Fortune 500:
For suspending the decisions of state Legislatures, and declaring themselves (the president and U. S. congress) invested with corporate power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.
have abdicated Government here, by declaring us powerless and waging War against us.
have plundered our seas, ravaged our Coasts, betrayed our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.
have transported large Armies of foreign Mercenaries and “contractors” to compleat the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the leadership of a civilized nation.

have excited domestic insurrections amongst us (out of control police agencies), and endeavoured to bring on the banks and the merciless corporate CEOs, whose known rule of warfare is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions for the corporate bottom line.
In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A President and Legislature whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, are unfit to be the rulers of a free people.
Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our corporate brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their bought and paid for legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which, would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence. They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.
We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, everyday people in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judgement of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, to do by Authority of the good People of these States, solemnly publish and declare, That these United States are and ought to be Free and Independent States; that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the Fortune 500, and that all political connection between them and the Corporate Elite, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent People, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish
Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of the 99%, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes and our sacred Honor.
It is time, with this new declaration of independence from the corporate cons, that we take back this nation, and our lives, from these pretenders. Viva la revolution!
