“It’s hardly unusual for even the most extremist right-wing Republicans to praise Obama’s foreign policy. GOP Congressman Peter King has repeatedly done just that, hailing Obama’s use of drones, assassination of a U.S. citizen with no due process, his upholding of indefinite detention powers, and the truncating of Miranda rights in terrorism cases. Just this week, GOP Senator Lindsey Graham — who has advocated bombing almost more Muslim countries in the last decade than he has fingers — said that he prefers Obama’s foreign policy over Rand Paul’s. A bipartisan coalition of Congressional outsiders tried in late 2013 to defund the NSA domestic spying program and almost succeeded, but the union of the parties’ establishments — the Obama White House, John Boehner and Nancy Pelosi — whipped just enough votes to protect the program.
The cause of NSA mass surveillance has been particularly embraced by many Democrats because it was Obama doing it (as I’ve said before, if Edward Snowden had leaked this information when a Republican was in the Oval Office, there would be a massive statue erected of him outside of the MSNBC studios, where he is now often vilified). And now, Jeb Bush (in contrast to Rand Paul, who vowed to end NSA spying “on Day One”) has declared himself fully in support of that cause, hailing Obama for expanding these capabilities.”

And the new corporate cons are on the same page as Obama. Hillary, Bernie and Jeb: all endorse American and Israeli aggression, are OK with murders in Gaza, are not responsive to constitutional issues with the Patriot Act and are willing to accept unarmed casualties at home and innocents dying in multiple wars for profit. Forget them.
She would have shut down dozens of wars of choice, including the ongoing brutality in Gaza and the West Bank. The last five angry and militant men have crippled this nation. We could have put a capable, professional woman (and distinguished physician) in the White House. This doctor has the cure, but she was ahead of her times.
Dr. Jill Stein could have provided the critical transition from exporting munitions, terror and war… to exporting knowledge, technology and medical and agricultural expertise… along with peace in our time.
Stein was endorsed for President by Noam Chomsky, a linguist, author and activist, and by Chris Hedges, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and war correspondent, among others. She is as real as it gets.”
Dr. Jill Stein:
“Don’t let them talk you out of your power. They want you to think that you are powerless, that you have to go to the polls and vote for one of the Wall Street sponsored candidates. But, remember, what that means is not just wasting your vote on more of what’s hurting you, it’s actually using your vote as a weapon against yourself. In fact, you are the most powerful thing out there.”
~Dr. Jill Stein
I met Dr. Jill Stein in Portland, Oregon.
She sat down to dinner with some inquisitive organizers. We looked her in the eye and discussed myriad issues. She is informed, brilliant, pragmatic, realistic, resourceful and strategic. Her world view eclipses that of any of our last five American presidents.
We could have shined with Stein and I am sticking with the Green New Deal.
The American people need to turn their backs on the corporate welfare parties and walk the talk. We need real debates among all candidates regardless of party. Real candidates will blow the corporate cons out of the water. This is why they do not want to debate issues.
We need independent, intelligent leaders with courage, vision, and values. And we need to look to 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th parties who are not bought and paid for by the Fortune 500.
If you are tired of wage theft, slave labor and working poverty… abandon the corporate cons and war-profiteers who have brought us twenty seven unnecessary wars, joblessness, and recession while sacrificing the peace to please munitions contractors.
It is time to stand firm.
This next election, we must send a message. Write letters, provide options, explore solutions, let us know what our tactics must be to take back the nation.
