Trump & Clinton = The Oligarchy

The pundits told us and they were right. Billionaire buffoon Donald Trump, the Republican (Tweedle Dum) standard-bearer and our new president, is leading the masses to nothing good with his hatred and bigotry.

On the Democratic (Tweedle Dee) side, former First Lady and long-term Israeli puppet Hillary Clinton was standing on a platform of unending conflicts of choice to support the corporate bottom line.

We were offered nothing but two pro-war candidates by the corporate parties. Trump and Clinton promised more war and suffering abroad and we can expect more poverty, bankruptcy, chaos and oppression at home.

We had an opportunity to reject the Oligarchy.

Green Party Candidate Dr. Jill Stein said very clearly that
Donald Trump And Hillary Clinton Represent The Oligarchy

In an interview before the election, Stein discussed the state of her campaign and the nature of the system she’s attempting to subvert. Mainstream media ignored her.

“There is a rebellion going on in the U.S., as in much of the world, and for good reason — we are in crisis and people really want to see change. You cannot have a revolution inside of a counter-revolutionary party. This is a big, deep and long fight. …”
The problem, she says, is that the Democratic party “has a track record for basically sabotaging its rebels,” from Jesse Jackson to Dennis Kucinich.
“The bottom line is that we are in political system in the U.S., which is funded by predatory banks and fossil fuel giants and war profiteers. So, we really need to reject that system, we say to reject the lesser evil so we can stand up and really fight for the greater good.”
When asked to assume that the two seeming front-runners, Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton, win the nominations in their respective parties, Stein said that she views both of them as “very much representatives of the oligarchy.

“They both support a very strong military, they support a budget in which 54 percent of our tax dollars, our discretionary budget, is going to the military to fight these wars which are not making us or the world a safer place.”

She went on to note that Clinton was once on the Board of Directors for Walmart: “There is no more oppressive corporation for workers’ rights and women than Walmart,” she argued.
At the heart of Stein’s criticism of the two-party system is a feeling that the two sides are, frankly, far too similar, and that both are beholden to the interests of large corporations and the very wealthy.
…in 2016, … Stein is not the only one to argue that, while the Republicans have gone off the rails, the Democrats have perceptibly shifted to the right.
Stein believes that the only way to make a breakthrough is to revolt against the system from the outside, to overcome, little by little, the barriers that have been erected by those whose political careers depend on a limited discourse and a managed democracy.
“I think a breakthrough is going to happen. The question is, how big a breakthrough will it be? In the words of Woody Allen, half of life is showing up.”
