Agitate, Educate, and Organize ~OO~
All my messages are positive.
Truth-telling is not an attack, it is a political necessity, tactical priority and the base for any change which may occur. Speaking the truth is powerful and necessary today. Pretense and illusions are how we have arrived at this precipice.
Jill Stein is younger, better-educated, more progressive and better prepared than any other candidate. It helps that she is brilliant and has a Green New Deal for revolutionary change in America which as been vetted by global experts.
This Green New Deal creates an emergency program, establishing twenty million living wage full-time jobs to green the economy. We can shut down wars of choice and develop alternative energy systems, clean up our food production systems and revolutionize transportation systems. We will build critical infrastructure and restore ecosystems. This emergency program will get us to 100 percent renewable energy by 2030. This is a war-time-level mobilization to completely detoxify our energy systems, both nuclear and fossil fuel. In doing this, we deprive the empire of this justification for increasing wars and unnecessary bases all around the globe. That emphasis will be gone, and there will no longer be avoidable wars to feed our fossil fuel energy system and sell munitions.
Stein is endorsed by Chris Hedges and others, but too many people are hung up on Sanders’ pretend campaign. This is what makes real change difficult. Most people are inundated with corporate disinformation and do not seem to understand what is at stake. Eight more years of expanding wars will destroy this nation and the entire world will suffer for that loss. Stein is smarter than the last five presidents and we are fortunate that she may end up in the White House by default.
Sometimes reality is not pretty. For example, Ronnie Reagan has been presented as a kindly old man by mainstream media, but he was a dangerous tool. It was his administration which allowed the military-industrial complex to win the war in America. It was Ronnie who delivered us to where we are.
“Ronald Reagan must be the nicest president who ever destroyed a union, tried to cut school lunch milk rations from six to four ounces, and compelled families in need of public help to first dispose of household goods in excess of $1,000…If there is an authoritarian regime in the American future, Ronald Reagan is tailored to the image of a friendly fascist.” – Robert Lekachman
I only tell the truth about Bernie. Sanders and Hillary are identical when it comes to war and peace. They are the new Friendly Fascists. Bernie has been pro-actively voting for war and profiteering. Telling the truth is not negative, except for some who have been trying to fool themselves. Bernie is not what he pretends to be. Bernie fans want to hear something different, but the truth is what matters because reality prevails. We cannot afford great pretenders like Ronnie and Bernie.
Ronnie’s betrayal, Obama’s machinations and Bernie’s pro war record cannot be blithely dismissed because history speaks. The time has come for people to deal with the truth. Ronnie may have been one of the great pretenders, but Obama has become the most dangerous president since World War Two by being the greatest deceiver. He broke every campaign promise he made and has been lying to the American people for 7 plus years. He has become an even better con than Reagan.
Reagan: Geniality with Genocide
“Up until the ascendancy of Barack Obama, the avuncular President, Ronald Reagan, was acknowledged as the ‘master con-man’, by virtue of his Hollywood acting experience. Reagan was and remained a disciplined and hardened backer of policies designed to concentrate wealth while smashing unions, even as he entertained the flag-waving hard hat construction workers with his jokes about ‘limousine liberals’ and Cadillac welfare queens. The knowing wink and clever two-liners were matched by an adaptation of morality tales from his cowboy films. Reagan, in his role as ‘the righteous sheriff’, backed the mercenary contras as they invaded Nicaragua and destroyed schools and clinics and the genocidal military dictators in El Salvador and Guatemala who murdered hundreds of thousands of Indians and peasants.”
…Barack Obama: The Master of Deceit
“From the beginning of his Presidential campaign, Obama demonstrated his proficiency as the master of all cons. He spoke passionately against torture while consulting with the torturers; he condemned Wall Street speculators while appointing key Street operatives as economic advisers. He promised a new deal in the Middle East, especially for Palestinians and then appointed a dual citizen, Israeli-US, Rahm Emmanuel (son of an Israeli Irgun terrorist) to be his most intimate Presidential advisor.
For sheer span of broken promises, of systematic lies in pursuit of wars and financial manipulation in the name of peace and social justice, of consistent and bold aggrandizement of executive power over the life and death of US citizens in the name of security, Obama has set the standard of political deception and demagogy far beyond past and probable future US Presidents.
…The costs of President Obama’s two-faced policies are enormous: democracy has given way to a police state openly defended by the President and Congressional leaders; Wall Street’s recovery and corporate profiteering is fast destroying public health and social security. Barack Obama’s multiple endless wars and interventions are destroying vast cities, infrastructure, entire cultures while and killing and impoverishing millions of people from Libya to Palestine, from Syria to Iran. The economic sanctions against Iran, the provocative encirclement and isolation of China, and the campaign to destabilize Venezuela are the centerpieces of Obama’s ‘pivot to empire’. These policies portend even greater world-shattering catastrophes.”
And these catastrophes in progress are why the truth about Bernie must be told.
I regret having to disturb people who choose to pretend Bernie is on their side, but facts remain.
“Bernie Sanders is another pawn of the military industrial complex, another servant of empire and interventionist wars, another war criminal of the duopoly of power in Washington of the Democrats and Republicans.
…Bernie Sanders says he will continue the illegal and immoral drone assassinations.”
“[President Obama has] expanded [empire], and he’s basically broken every international law relating to national sovereignties. He’s broken some of the Geneva Conventions, all of which the U.S. is a signatory to, U.N. Charter. No wars are permitted under international law in the U.N. Charter, unless they’re for strictly defensive purposes. And obviously, we attacked Iraq. They never threatened us. And we’re attacking all kinds of other areas around the world.”
Bernie intends to continue attacking smaller and less powerful nations. He has signed on to Obama’s twenty seven wars of choice which include bombing seven nations and assassinating thousands of innocents. We cannot continue this carnage.
So… I am sorry if reality disturbs, but Bernie is not our man.
Bernie Hysteria and Liberal Hypocrisy
“The intent of this piece is to call out Democrats, liberals and progressives who are hysterically supporting Bernie Sanders, while still calling themselves supporters of peace.
…As David Masciotra wrote in Salon, “Liberal supporters of Sanders who … flippantly cast concerns about his collusion with the Pentagon establishment aside with “no one is perfect” or “better than Hillary” refrains, should scrutinize their own values, and answer how they rank more refugees, corpses and amputees in the Middle East and Africa against largely unenforceable rhetoric about “standing up to Wall Street.”
…Sanders has said he would continue Barack Obama’s deadly drone program, which is to say he supports the way wars will be waged in the future. This is the same drone program that results in the killing of innocent people. According to documents revealed by Jeremy Scahill, during one five month period, US drone strikes only killed 10% of their intended targets – in other words, 90% of those killed were innocent civilians. Sanders wants to continue such a program.
…As the World Socialist Website wrote, “if Sanders goes on to win the Democratic nomination and the presidency, he will betray the aspirations of his supporters flagrantly and with extraordinary speed. A thousand excuses will be brought forward to explain why the wars must continue abroad and nothing can be done to rein in Wall Street at home. Bernie Sanders is not the herald of [a movement outside the two-party system], but a false prophet who is neither genuinely socialist nor genuinely independent.”
When asking a liberal why Obama hasn’t shut down Guantanamo Bay as promised, they spout something like, “one person can’t change everything.” If that’s the case, then why should anyone care who gets elected president?
Those who claim to be antiwar but who support pro-war presidential candidates are disingenuous and diminish what it truly means to be antiwar.

The cure is courage.
“People have only as much liberty as they have the intelligence to want and the courage to take…”
And we can shine with Stein and the Green New Deal.
