Obama promised peace and health care. He delivered neither.

Barack Obama gave us forced payments to insurance cartels who continued to raise prices while providing the most expensive and least effective health care among the 10 most developed nations. This has left more than 31 million Americans without access to health care.

And while Obama talked the talk about peace, he allowed the Pentagon and the CIA to take us from 60 bases to 1000 bases and 4 wars to 56 simultaneous wars. This bankrupted the nation and was a real bad idea.

I understand the genesis of these ideas. Obama saw the murders of Malcolm, Martin, and the Kennedy brothers. When you challenge the war machine you can end up dead. So Obama talked the talk, but surrendered to the Pentagon and American intelligence agencies, services, contractors and mercenaries.

Then Obama went on to claim a new presidential “right” to murder. Barack had unarmed people murdered without trial and called this the new American “justice.” Then he re-suspended habeas corpus. Obama leaned further right than George W. Bush and governed like a neo-con on steroids. So much could have been accomplished. I voted for him once, as a lesser evil. Never again: no fear, no compromise and no surrender.
