The Trans Pacific Partnership Agree is NAFTA on Steroids. It must be stopped. Obama, trade representatives of participating nations and 600 corporate advisers have been negotiating in secret for 4 years and have NOT kept our Congress notified of draft negotiations. This is totally unacceptable.
The Death Penalty
Innocent people are on death row and innocent people have been put to death.
These are irreversible tragedies. A recent study concludes that 4% of people on death row in America are not guilty. Since 1973, 144 prisoners on death row have been found to be innocent of the crimes for which they were convicted.
In a Nutshell
The rich are getting incredibly richer. The biggest
corporations pay little or no taxes (hiding money
offshore, or blatantly stashing $2.5 trillion right
here in the U.S.), the cost of higher education
is increasingly out of range of many in the middle
class (unless they go eyeball deep in debt),
employer-paid health care and pensions are disappearing…
